Composite Bonding

Tooth-coloured composite shaped directly onto the tooth in a single appointment.

Composite bonding builds up a tooth with resin that is shaped and polished in the mouth. It is used to close small gaps, repair chipped edges, reshape teeth and replace old amalgam fillings.

It is done in one appointment and, unlike veneers or crowns, usually requires little or no removal of healthy tooth structure.

Composite is more prone to staining over time than ceramic, so it is often the right answer for smaller corrections and for younger patients.
